Kestrel Mid-Range

Rate this post

The Kestrel Mid-Range golf disc is a small diameter midrange and approach disc available in an inexpensive baseline plastic. This midrange has a thin profile (not very tall) and a thin rim with a small bead (bump) around the edge. Do to the slower speed (rating of 3) this disc would likely be considered an approach disc by most disc golfers. This is an excellent approach shot with two available plastic types at the time of this post. The clear, translucent plastic is quite durable, however, the inexpensive opaque plastic feels very good, but is not very durable and is susceptible to warping with high impact throws at trees or other objects.

The Kestrel Outdoors Midrange has a stable flight path with a consistent end of flight fade. This disc uses the same mold as the Yikun Wings.
